May 2018—Pipeline Induction Heat (PIH), the world’s leading field joint coating company, is celebrating 30 years at its UK location in Burnley, Lancashire.

Last month, to mark the significant milestone at the Rossendale Industrial Estate site, the company hosted a party for employees past and present at the Rosegrove Unity Club. Guests were entertained and treat to a delicious buffet with a chance to celebrate the past 30 years. The company’s founder, Peter Bryant joined the festivities via video link to talk about the history of the business and thank employees for their loyalty.

Said PIH md, Paul McShane: “Thirty years is a considerable milestone and over the years the business has grown from strength to strength, so we felt it only right to celebrate accordingly.

“Geographically, Burnley has been an excellent location for us. Clients from abroad have been able to reach us with ease thanks to our close proximity to Manchester Airport and we also have excellent road routes linking us to major cities around the UK. Our loyal workforce - many of whom are from the local area - have been with the business for a considerable number of years too. Here’s to the next 30!”

In addition to the party, PIH has planned a number of fundraising activities that will take place throughout the year, in support of Lancashire-based Pendleside Hospice. They include the Hospice’s ‘Corporate Challenge’ initiative where participating companies are challenged to raise funds between July and September 2018. The business that raises the most money will be recognised at an awards ceremony which will be held in September. One of the events includes a 10k run which will take place in July - a number of staff from PIH are already training in preparation for the event.
