PIH Announces Exclusive Partnership

The world’s leading specialist field joint coating service provider, Pipeline Induction Heat Ltd (PIH), is delighted to announce an exclusive project partnership with long-established, thermal insulation coating manufacturers, Mark Tool and Rubber Co, Inc. through a joint venture with MTE Engineered Materials, LLC.

The partnership relates to the exclusive use of MTE’s ThermoTRON XT® Sleeve System, an innovative new field joint coating solution, manufactured to meet the growing demands for advanced thermal insulation technology.

ThermoTRON XT® Sleeve System consists of three layers: a corrosion-resistant layer, bonding agent layer and a high temperature resistant, high density elastomer layer with a max operating temperature of 475oF. Other benefits include its ability to be reeled making it an ideal coating solution for PIH customers on spool bases and offshore lay barges.
